Snails Trail Media is the moniker for Jesse Eastman. Eastman is a writer/director/producer based out of Austin TX.

Jesse began his filmmaking journey as a theater actor before transitioning to filmmaking and behind the camera in 2017/18. In the time since, he has written over 20 short films which have been produced (and dozens of others), directed 15 short films and 2 web series, and acted for and crewed on many others. His films have shown at festivals in Nebraska, Texas, Iowa, New York, New Jersey, Toronto, and more- where they've been nominated for their screenplays, acting, and best film- taking home "Best Experimental Short Film" at Alternating Currents Film Festival.

Jesse's main love is screenwriting but he still enjoys acting and directing if the project is right and has worked as a Production Manager, Second Assistant Director, Assistant Director, Sound Recordist, Locations, Covid Compliance, and Production Assistant on projects ranging from volunteer only to $500,000+ budgets. 

 

Currently he's in production on his first feature length film; an anthology about relationships, and continues to write and produce shorts and a new feature.
